Primary Responsibility:
As a Buyer in the supermarket commercial team, I am responsible for sourcing and selecting products that meet customer needs while ensuring the best quality at competitive prices. My role involves building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and managing inventory levels to balance availability with cost efficiency. I conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and new opportunities, while closely monitoring sales performance to optimize product assortment and profitability. By collaborating with logistics, marketing, operations, and finance teams, I ensure smooth product flow, effective promotions, and overall business growth, all while maintaining strict compliance with company policies, quality standards, and food safety regulations.
